The canteen was suffering from a reverberation problem which was caused by a large number of hard surfaces including ceilings. There are many conversations at the same time and constant noise from tableware and cutlery. The result of the reverberant environment was excessive noise levels, lack of privacy and poor speech intelligibility. Magnesite wool wool panels were painted in cheerful colors and installed in stylish geometric design.
